Procrastinating

When it comes to homework and revision, we all understand the hard work and boredom that comes with it and if you’re anything like me you’re used to leaving it till the last minute. It’s easy to say you’ll do it later, but later turns into tomorrow and tomorrow turns into cramming before your lesson is about to start.

Remove all distractions
The last thing you need if you have work to do is get distracted. Every single minute you spend replying to a text or checking what’s trending is a minute you have to make up later. Put your phone out of sight and avoid having anything like the TV on in the background. Try listening to music if you need it. Distractions cost time and one thing us procrastinators cannot do without is time.

Think about your work space
Pick a place you’re comfortable to be working in without noise and distractions that’s clear and has good lighting. The best place to work at is a desk, not the comforts of your bed, despite how much more comfortable it is!!

Just do it!
The hardest part for us procrastinators is making ourselves sit down and get it done!! In advance pick a sensible day and time - You want to get it out of the way, so sit down and do it!! There’s no point in leaving it till later!!!

I'm supposed to be doing homework right now…
