February Favourites

This is the first monthly favourites post I've done. I definitely won't be doing one of these every month, mainly because I don't get new favourites that are worth posting that quickly! Anyway, now onto my February favourites...

Make-up favourite: Rimmel Wake Me Up concealer
When I first got this product I wasn't loving it, but it was okay and I did use it a lot. Recently, I have grown to love this product and use it everyday. I just love how it looks under your eyes; it brightens your under eye area really well which I feel like most high coverage concealers don't do. I have to say that this concealer isn't particularly good for covering up blemishes but overall it's definitely a great product that makes you look more awake as we step away from winter!

Music favourite: Old shoes by Adam Barnes
I first heard this on one of Zoella's videos and as soon as I heard I searched it immediately because it's completely my sort of music. Although I do like indie and indie rock music, I also love this sort of music, so if anyone knows what this genre of music is called please let me know down below! I feel like not everyone will love this song and a lot of people will simply think that it's average, but hopefully there will also be people who absolutely fall in love with it (like me...).
You can listen to the song on youtube here.

Book favourite: Crossed by Ally Condie
I really enjoyed this book as it's one of those books in which I can really get stuck into and picture everything so clearly in my mind. It is the sequel to Matched which I've got to say I did prefer to Crossed, but Matched is one hard book to beat anyway! This is the blurb:
THE SOCIETY CHOOSES EVERYTHING.
The books you read.
The music you listen to.
The person you love.
Yet for Cassia the rules have changed. Ky has been taken and she will sacrifice everything to find him.
And when Cassia discovers Ky has escaped to the wild frontiers beyond the Society there is hope...
But on the edge of society nothing is as it seems...
A REBELLION IS RISING.
And a tangled web of lies and double-crosses could destroy everything.

Fashion favourite: Infinity symbol necklace
Lucy got me this necklace 1-2 years ago and I've always loved it, but recently I've really been into simple gold jewellery and I've been wearing this necklace pretty much every time I can! It's the perfect touch to finish off an outfit and I just love how simple jewellery is so subtle yet it can also be a small statement piece when you wear it over a plain top.

Food favourite: Lindt chocolates
I can't even begin to tell you how much I love Lindt chocolate, it's just so creamy and indulgent. I love to just have one occasionally and save them for treats every so often, but because they are so creamy I can't manage more than one anyway!

What have been some of your recent favourites?

  1. I simply love that necklace. And honestly, my recent favorite is not a beauty product, it's my Canon DSLR camera. I am just in love with it. Great post.

    1. The U.S is missing out! I hate how some products aren't available worldwide, the amount of the times I've sat here staring at products that we can't get in the UK...
